Funding Workgroup was created to establish a dedicated source of state funding with potential for growth based on need, accountability and performance.

2007 Accomplishments

• $2 million biennial increase in Clean Water Indiana (CWI) state funding

• $10,000 grant to SWCD’s maintained

• $1,500 training grant approved by the State Soil Conservation Board

• CWI marketing incentive grant set up for each SWCD ($2,000)

• CWI Nutrient and Sediment Reduction Grants established

• CWI Conservation Consulting Initiative established
