Join us for the Indiana Conservation Farm Tour featuring the 2024 Indiana Conservation Farmer of the Year, Hackman Family Farm in Jackson County! Tour three interactive education stations highlighting the farm’s proven conservation practices and hear directly from the Hackman family about how these efforts contribute to their farm’s success and sustainability. Enjoy time to connect with fellow conservationists, SWCD supervisors and staff and partners, while enjoying a hearty downhome lunch of Creekbank Taters—a nostalgic conservation tradition. A $10 donation is encouraged, with all proceeds supporting Indiana Envirothon, a statewide environmental education program for high school students.
