The IASWCD organizes numerous gatherings annually for Indiana’s Soil and Water Conservation Districts and partners across the state. These events serve as educational platforms and offer valuable networking opportunities.

Annual Conference

IASWCD hosts the Soil and Water Conservation Conference, fostering learning, networking, and collaboration. Attendees gain insights on soil health, conservation practices, invasive species, forestry, education and more through informative presentations.

Awards

Every year, we celebrate the champions of soil and water conservation in Indiana. We present five awards to individuals, farmers, and Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs) who have made significant contributions to preserving our precious natural resources.

Summer Summits

Annually, IASWCD, in collaboration with the Indiana State Department of Agriculture, organizes gatherings across the state for Indiana’s 92 Soil & Water Conservation Districts. These meetings provide information and a platform for regional discussions on local concerns and solutions.

Training

IASWCD offers timely, salient, and useful training and resources to Indiana’s 92 Soil and Water Conservation Districts. Find upcoming trainings and recordings of past trainings here.
